2020 has proved to be a challenging year as the Coronavirus resulted in global lockdowns; leaving people feeling isolated from loved ones, and putting a strain on resources. In response, key workers have been working extremely hard to keep us safe and the nation going during these difficult times; whether it’s on the front line in hospitals, charity volunteers helping people in need, or local shop staff providing our necessities every week.

Hygiene has become more important than ever. So to say thank you, Cif will be giving away hundreds of thousands of new Cif Anti-Bac & Shine ecorefills and bottles for life across the UK to key workers in partnership with The Work Perk and to local charitable organisations with our donor partner In Kind Direct. We hope this will help people feel more secure in their homes, and help keep them & their families safe with disinfected surfaces surfaces.

In Kind Direct  is the UK charity providing life’s essentials and ensuring no usable product goes to waste. Founded in 1996 by HRH The Prince of Wales, they offer a simple solution to distribute products donated by companies to the local charities, community groups, foodbanks and schools that need them to support their communities. In Kind Direct has distributed over £250 million worth of products to over 10,500 charitable organisations supporting millions of people each year.

This year, more people are struggling to access the essentials like cleaning products, toothpaste, hand wash, laundry detergent and toilet roll. No one should have to go without them. Cif wants to help people who are struggling to access disinfectants to keep their homes safe, by giving away hundreds of thousands of Anti-Bac & Shine ecorefills and bottles for life to key local charitable organisations with In Kind Direct.
