KEY WORKERS : GIVING THANKS

KEY WORKERS
KEY WORKERS

2020 proved to be one of the most challenging years yet, as the Coronavirus pandemic caused global lockdowns and people were left feeling isolated from loved ones.

It put a huge strain on key resources, and as a result key workers have been working extremely hard to keep us safe and the nation going during these difficult times; whether it's on the front line in hospitals, charity volunteers helping people in need, or shop staff providing our essentials every week.

Last year, to say thank you, Cif distributed half a million new Cif Anti-Bac & Shine ecorefills and bottles for life to key workers across the UK in partnership with The Work Perk, and to local charitable organisations with our donor partner In Kind Direct.

Now in 2021 with another lockdown and strained resources, it's more important than ever that we continue our hygiene efforts to keep our communities and loved ones safe. To help, Cif is distributing a further quarter of a million Cif Anti-Bac & Shine ecorefills and bottles for life to key workers across the UK in partnership with The Work Perk.

We hope that this gesture will have a large impact in helping to keep millions of people & their families safe, and their homes beautifully clean.

About In Kind Direct

In Kind Direct  is the UK charity providing life’s essentials and ensuring no usable product goes to waste. Founded in 1996 by HRH The Prince of Wales, they offer a simple solution to distribute products donated by companies to the local charities, community groups, foodbanks and schools that need them to support their communities. In Kind Direct has distributed over £250 million worth of products to over 10,500 charitable organisations supporting millions of people each year.

This year, more people are struggling to access the essentials like cleaning products, toothpaste, hand wash, laundry detergent and toilet roll. No one should have to go without them. Cif wants to help people who are struggling to access disinfectants to keep their homes safe, by giving away hundreds of thousands of Anti-Bac & Shine ecorefills and bottles for life to key local charitable organisations with In Kind Direct.
