I’ve used this cleaning spray primarily in my bathrooms as it does smell quite strong however I like that it can be used anywhere.It cut through the oven and hob grease no problem and didn’t leave any left over residue unlike some other cleaners.A little spray goes a long way, I didn’t need to re-spray it on tough stains!Although I’ve mentioned the strong smell of bleach, I don’t find this a negative, I like that it makes everything smell so clean and fresh! cif power and shine multi-purpose - by paulst1452,

Having used this spray for a couple of weeks, I thought I would write a review to let others know what it is like. Firstly, it is multipurpose, which means I only one spray for around the house. It tackles both cooked on food on the cooker and the bathroom, used by a family of 4, with ease.It smells of bleach. It really smells of bleach. Whilst I like the sense of cleanliness the smell of bleach gives, this is a tad too strong.Finally, this is an excellent all-round spray for daily use, that leaves surfaces sparkling and clean. I thinknthis product is brilliant - it smells good - which is a real bonus as most cleaning products that contain bleach smell nasty. The spray bottle is easy to handle and helps to make sure you don't get bleach where you don't want it!Very effective cleaning too which of course is the aim. As a busy working mum trying to balance home and work life, I’m all for trying anything which will make my life easier & help give the impression I am a domestic goddess!! I don’t have a favourite multi purpose cleaner, if I’m honest I tend to go for what’s on offer when I do my weekly shop and it can vary what ends up in my trolley from supermarket own brands to more well known names. I hadn’t actually used the Cif Power and Shine before & was dubious as to whether it would differ from other similar cleaners. My first real test for the product was my kitchen cupboard doors which are constantly displaying my toddlers sticky fingerprints. It removed all traces with ease and no scrubbing! I’ve since gone on to use it on my kitchen worktops, the sink and cooker job. I’ve also cleaned the bathroom using it and everything seemed to sparkle. It made light work or cleaning the bath and shower! There is no nasty ammonia smell either with the product which is important to me when using this product on a daily basis. Based on its ability to keep my important surfaces clean, hygienic and fresh smelling I would be hard pushed to go back to my supermarket own brands now. It is a very powerful cleaning tool which will be a firm fixture in my cleaning basket! The packaging of this product is simple and clean looking, but I don’t think it would jump out at me on the supermarket shelves. Cif power shine does exactly what it says it will it’s a brilliant product. The bottle has a nozzle top so you’re able to hit those stubborn spots directly, it has a faint bleach smell which is not overpowering but could be if you use it in a confined space. Ive used Cif Power spray in the bathroom after my son had been in and typically left a mark around the bath. This is one powerful cleaner. Particularly great for cleaning bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, and any high traffic area that gets very grubby! It made particularly short work of my shower cubicle which gets grimy so quickly. It left a nice shine behind and time to spare for a cup of tea afterwards! Although it has quite a strong smell of bleach it didn’t irritate my skin or breathing, and the smell didn’t linger after usage. It must contain just the right amount to allow you to get the job done easily. A great, high performance product, it has lost one star purely because I would have preferred a different fragrance. I really enjoy using Cif Power & Shine in both my kitchen and my bathroom. A little of this product goes a long way. Not only does it remove shower scum but has also helped to remove out of the ordinary things (thanks to my 2yr old) like blue tack. Lol I love how it has bleach but the smell isn't overbearing. With other sprays with bleach in it, I have to open a window to allow the bathroom to air out. This is great! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the smell of bleach at first, but it’s not overpowering, and it does make the house smell really fresh and clean. Power & Shine sums up the product - it’s very powerful, for example I sprayed it in the discoloured plug hole of my kitchen sink, left it, and 20 minutes later it was clean and shiny, without any scrubbing. As an unenthusiastic cleaner, I’m very happy about this! I’ve also used it on kitchen cupboards, everywhere in the bathroom, including walls, and on my garage door, and it’s been consistently effective and easy to use. Absolutely love this product! Being a mother of a very young child I like to ensure that every where is spotless especially the kitchen and this product works miracles and smells amazing. No stubborn stain on the worktop seems to cling on once this has been sprayed onto it.
